The Prowler Yearbook

The Prowler Yearbook is an award-winning, student-led publication from Senior Providence High School in North Carolina. As a personal passion project, I created a logo that I felt suited a playful take on the yearbook publication. In line with the school's panther mascot, I designed a logo to illustrate a panther reading a book, using negative space to achieve the effect.

I also drew inspiration from stamps for the border. If this logo were to be featured on the back of the yearbooks, I liked the idea of "mailing" this time capsule of memories to the students for them to keep. I felt that the stamp-like border would be able to give that impression for the yearbooks.

The icons used in the Student Press pass design were created by Freepik - Flaticon.

INKBAR Studios is an upscale establishment offering premium studio spaces for tattoo artists and barbers featuring a mid-century modern aesthetic.

For this logo competition design entry, I was inspired by vintage mid-century modern signs.
